When my sweet client and friend Lauren reached out to me about a backyard family photoshoot I was 100% down.
I knew that she wanted to really document her family in a way that felt authentic and real to them. Sunday dinners are a normal part of their lives so why not use that as the theme for their photoshoot.
Huntsville families all have their special and unique ways of interacting with each other-and chances are you are no exception.
Some questions to ask when you are thinking about planning a backyard summer session for your family:
1. What is something that we do on repeat?
2. What are my kids most excited about right now?
3. What type of pictures of my family would I expect to see in one of those old school photo albums? You, know, the ones at your grandparents house. Casual, informal but really fun memories.
4. What's something that might not last too much longer?
Below are some of the images that came from our time together. I absolutely love this documentation of their family and their everyday life.
I'm currently offering Limited Edition Summer Backyard sessions. These are shorter sessions really focused on documenting you and your kiddos in a way that feels natural.
We only have 18 summers with our children.
18.
Let's not let another one go by undocumented.
