I can't get over the fact that I live in this beautiful place.

Emily's family was an absolute dream to photograph and the best part was that we created all of this magic right in my backyard!

A little backstory with this amazing family...

Emily is a fellow photographer here in Huntsville. She reached out last winter and asked in a National Photography group we are both a part of and asked if there was anyone living in Huntsville. As luck, and the Lord would have it, I happened to be moving to HSV in just a couple of months. Emily and I actually both moved here from different parts of the country just a few days apart. Emily and I really had an instant friendship. We shared a love for photography and a deep faith in Jesus.

Emily also was a big part of a difficult chapter in our life.

In the summer we found out that are family dog of 12 years had end stage cancer. We only had 3 days to process before we put her to sleep. Emily came at a moments notice and did a family session for us to capture those last hours with our sweet girl. I was so excited to be able to properly say thank you with this family session!

I love that this little business of mine has allowed me to make so many friendships that I'm certain will last a lifetime. It goes beyond a click of the shutter and sending off pictures to people. It's about forming threads of connection and love that will last us for years to come.
