I always tell parents to book well in advance of when baby is due, if possible. That way we can pick a date on the calendar based on your due date, and sit down to plan outfits for the whole family ahead of time. It's a huge stress reducer to have it out of the way early.

But don't worry...if baby comes early, comes late, or is a little bigger than we expected, we can work around it! After 3 kids of my own and six years as a professional baby photographer, I know firsthand we're working on baby's schedule. I have a beautifully curated baby client closet we can borrow from if needed, and we'll reschedule to ensure we can capture those first days when baby is teeny-tiny! Those are the days you want to remember.

Wear outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors, minimal patterns, and coordinating (but not matching) outfits work best for group photos. Part of hiring me is having a styling consultant in your back pocket. I will bring my years of expertise on what photographs well in what light to the table when we are in the planning phase. If you trust me, I  will make sure you look amazing in your photos. 

Yes! I have a beautiful studio we can take photos in, but my favorite is always in-home lifestyle sessions. We get to capture your home and baby, so it's a more intimate glimpse into your real life together as a family.

One thing I don't do is time my sessions. I find it to be very limiting and doesn't serve you as the client well. I can tell you on average a family session takes around an hour, while an in-home newborn session may take closer to an hour and a half.

We're working on baby's schedule, so I want you to feel relaxed and not hindered by time. If you need breaks, snacks, time to nurse - you've got it with me!

I know exactly when I have gotten a full, well-rounded gallery from our time together. So, whether that's 40 minutes or an hour and fifteen, I will make sure you walk away with beautiful photos for your home.

Editing takes time to ensure the best quality. Most newborn sessions are delivered within 3 weeks. Rush processing may be available upon request.

I offer the most gorgeous prints and albums to my clients, all custom made and designed. There will also be digital images included in each of my collections. 

I love and I mean LOVE authentic, candid connections. So the majority of our session will be that way. 

I always start with some more traditional, posed shots for the Christmas cards and grandparents (iykyk). From there, though, we transition into capturing your family's real connections, real smiles, real laughs and giggles. 

i will gently prompt you and position you towards the good light and angles. But I want you to do what feels natural in the moment. Don't worry about telling your kiddos to smile the whole time or say cheese. Sessions are gentle and child led, which allows for them to just be themselves. 

It's ok! That's life. I'm great about being able to find small corners with the best light, moving things over temporarily, and making sure it's as stress-free as possible. You don't have to go on a cleaning spree for beautiful newborn photos; we're here to capture real life.
