Huntsville Fall Extended Family Session

It's not everyday that I get to throw grandparents into a family session! But I love when I do!! 

Fall is the perfect time in Huntsville or Madison Alabama to include those grandparents in your sweet session. They love being in pictures with their grandchildren and these are memories that are truly invaluable. 

Devin was one of my first clients and I was able to photograph her youngest when he was just days old. 

I love following my clients and seeing how their families grow and change over the years.

Here's just a sneak peek into the magic we made during this shoot!

 

And can we talk about this styling?!

I absolutely love how everything pulled together for wardrobe in Devin's session! 

We had a consultation where we went through color palettes and complimenting styles. This is something that I do with all my clients-and truthfully insist on. Styling makes a tremendous difference in the final result of your images! So let's have fun shopping through my client closet and designing something amazing for your Fall Huntsville photoshoot. 

Do:

 

 

  • Layer-Mix textures and patterns
  • Add accessories such as hats, scarves, cardigans
  • Pick colors that enhance the landscape
  • Choose one statement outfit to coordinate around (ideally mom's)
  • Level up-dress your best this evening, even if it's a little out of your norm. 
  • Choose colors that fit in with your home decor

 

Dont:

 

  • Wear tennis shoes
  • No logos on clothing
  • Don't have multiple people in jeans
  • Mix similar patterns (stripes with stripes, plaids with plaids)
  • Wear bright, neon colors that cause trouble in editing
  • Try to be matchy-matchy
  • Wear shift dresses or overly baggy clothing
  • No polos for the men(button downs, henley tees, etc work much better)
