It's not everyday that you get to witness something that takes your breath away. Something so truly beautiful that you just have to stop and let it sink in that this is really happening. I felt that way when I got to photograph Manny and Naomi's reunion. Manny had been away on active duty since the birth of their little girl. After four months this soldier got to return home to his two loves, and by some stroke of luck, I got to be the one to capture it. I don't know what I loved more...the way Naomi looked at Manny with such a passion and unwavering love. The constant giggles from their little one as she was held by her daddy. The way Manny embraced his wife and daughter as if no time had passed at all. Or just everything in between.
