This couple chose to head outside, looking for a more rugged and wild setting for their session. A local field and an overcast sky created an atmosphere exactly right for this sweet toddler-friendly maternity session.

Children Are Always a Delight

Kids of any age are always welcome in my maternity sessions.

I LOVE when couples want to include their kids in their maternity session! That relationship is so important and it brings such richness into the session. 

For this session, we planned together to create a session that would engage their toddler. With littles, the best plan is to have fun and keep it low-pressure. This little guy had a great time playing with his beautiful parents, and that joy came through in their photos.

This family absolutely shines in their outfit choices! Mama is glowing in blue, and I love the addition of a loose-fitting knit sweater to add texture. Dad's textured orange sweater contrasts beautifully with mom's dress and coordinates with little man's shoes. 

I always tell clients: coordinate instead of matching, and this family NAILED it!

Of course we have to honor the bump! Baby bumps are precious and it's always fun to record as they grow. More than this, though, baby bump pictures celebrate the work mama is doing to bring a life into the world. 

In this series of bump photos, you can clearly see the love and tenderness mom and dad already feel towards their newest little one.

We travelled from multiple hours away because we were so impressed by Tiffany’s portfolio.
