This sweet mama wanted a special session with her six sweet babies. There are so many places in her beautiful home that make for excellent backdrops for these cozy photos.

More than anything, this session shows how taking photos in a home can highlight and enhance the relationships between parent and child, and between siblings.

One of the best parts of photography is seeing the stories unfold before my eyes. I love when the fluid and ever-changing dynamics between family members play out in family rooms.

This family was no different, especially once they kicked off a dance party in the kitchen.

This place and this time are so specific, so special. Someday, these children will look at these pictures and remember the light that came through the windows. They'll remember the meals they ate at the table. The dances they did in the kitchen.

And mama will remember the giggles, the sweet smell of a baby's head, the little feet pattering on the hardwoods. She'll remember how much she cherished those days.
