I love everything about this session. Flower crowns, family, and dreamy golden lighting gave Tequita picture-perfect family photos. From wardrobe to setting, this outdoor maternity session is everything a photographer could hope for!

Let's Talk Wardrobe

This family is a great example of coordinating, not matching. Father and son are wearing the same basic outfit structure (nice pants and collared shirt) but in different colors. This allows them to remain distinct from one another without being distracting.

Mom and daughter are the stars of the show when it comes to dressing. Mama's flower crown immediately draws the eye to her as the center of the session. Meanwhile, a flowing blue lace dress gives her daughter an ethereal presence that matches the dreamy, sunlit atmosphere.

Storytelling with a Purpose

One of my favorite things about photography is telling a story through images, through connections between people. These parents treasure their children and I love the way you can see it in the pictures. 

The sweet glances, the head on the shoulder, the hand held gently, they all tell the story of a family full of love.
