Your body is incredible and that is worth commemorating. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, honoring this time will be a huge blessing later on.

Let's talk about what type of photos you'll get from a maternity session!

You and Yourself

These are shots to capture the unique beauty of this moment. You can dress how you want, and you can change outfits if you'd like! Just make sure you communicate with your photographer so they know how to honor what you want to do.

These are precious images you'll look back on fondly as your life moves on from the pregnancy chapter.

Bring the whole family in! This time in your life is about them too as they await a new addition to your little unit.

This part of your session should be fun. An experienced photographer will help your kids relax and even enjoy these moments together.

You and Your Kids

A maternity session is a wonderful way to honor your relationships with your kids. This is a great reminder to them that they are still just as loved and important, no matter how many siblings they have. 

Make sure you intentionally invite them in so they know yes, they are wanted here in this session.

If you have other kids, come up with something fun for them to do while you take these photos!

Honor the Belly

Obviously you want to capture the image of your growing baby. This time is so unique as your little one gets ready to come into the world. The relationship between you has already begun, and these photos capture the work and care you are putting in to care for this new life.

PS, as a three-time mama myself, don't worry about stretch marks or swollen places. Your body is beautiful and you can feel pride in all YOU are accomplishing.
