The holidays are here, and with them all the family photos. Pictures in front of a Christmas tree in fancy clothes or matching PJ's always get me thinking about photos I'd like in the new year. Kids grow up, families change, and I never want to miss a moment.
In the coming weeks, I will cover each of these types of photography in more detail. For today, I want to give an overview of sessions that might appeal to you.
If you've resolved to take more photos next year or even find a local photographer, let's talk about different types of sessions that might fit your family!
Your business is kind of like your baby. You pour out your time. You lose sleep. You shed tears. You watch it grow. You stress over failures and speed bumps. You celebrate big wins.
So my question is do your brand photos show how much time and love you have devoted to this business?
If not, let me assure you: it's totally worth the investment!
Sometimes we forget to memorialize our relationship with our partner. Kids bring out the desire to take pictures, especially to mark the years as they grow up.
But that relationship with your person is worth capturing too. Hang those pictures on your wall, because later you will want to remember each of these sweet, difficult, magical, gritty, wonderful years of love.
Even the easiest, smoothest pregnancy is a crazy experience. Your body is growing a new person and you are just living your life while this happens (I did this three times and it still feels crazy to me).
This miraculous labor is beautiful and your body deserves to be cherished. You deserve to be honored. This is your sign: take those maternity pictures.
Those first hours are so special. When that new human enters the world, there is a precious almost sacred hush and intimacy that is so worth memorializing.
Fresh 48 photos are tender, vulnerable, and a beautiful way to soak in this short, sweet moment.
Once baby is finally home, the new dynamics begin. The nursery becomes the center of attention. Sibling relationships bloom and begin to grow. Your home and your baby change so fast and in the midst of newborn chaos, we sometimes let those moments pass us by.
I promise, you don't want to miss the opportunity to memorialize this time. You'll be so glad you did!
Families stretch and grow. New people come. We lose loved ones. Our faces change overtime. One of my favorite things about family photography is getting to document this growth over the years.
Family photos are a chance to catch these precious people in this moment, just as they are. No matter what your family looks like, these photos will be keepsakes for years to come.
So which session looks most like the one you've been dreaming of?
I have a wonderful special running in the month of December, so if you are local to North Alabama and the Tennessee Valley, let's talk!
We have received your message and will contact you shortly
