Easy Back-to-School Portraits for Huntsville Parents

Hey Huntsville parents: July is here. It's time to start thinking about back to school.

And I'm here to tell you why that doesn't have to be a headache.

I know, I know, it feels entirely too early to mention back to school. From the dead center of summer, back to school seems too far away to think about. 

I'm here to tell you that it's coming so much faster than any of us realize. 

And we all want those back-to-school photos that document how much they've grown since the beginning of last year.

This year, I'm making those photos more accessible than ever for Huntsville families. 

Let me tell you how.

But first - what is a personality portrait?

A personality portrait is a very simple, stripped down series usually focused on one person.

The photos are close up, highlighting the uniqueness of the subject's face, and the editing is subtle.

As the name communicates, these photos show personality and document a detailed picture of right now.
That sounds great - add me to the waitlist!

Personality portraits are easy because there's no dressing up.

Simple dark clothing and you're good to go.

No coordinating outfits, no fretting about competing patterns, and no concerns about clashing colors.

Instead, dress your kids in plain play clothes, preferably in darker colors that will pop in black and white.

Simplicity is the name of the game.

Personality portraits are easy because they're quick.

And this year, I'm offering drop-in dates for parents with limited time.

A personality portrait session can be as quick as 5 minutes. Because we are focused on one kid's adorable face, I can get the photos I need in no time. 

You could be in and out in 15 minutes or less.

On my drop-in dates, you'll be able to stop by between grocery shopping and the swimming pool, take your photos, and go on with your day.

It's the perfect way to capture this season of your kids' lives without derailing a whole day.

Personality portraits are easy because they live within kids' attention span.

No hour long session here. 

Your kids, big or little, won't have time to get bored. 

Before they even know what's happening, the session will be done and they can go on to the next thing - or go back to whatever we interrupted.

This is how we capture such wonderful close-up images: get them before anyone is grumpy.
